I’m Paul Boland, the founder of BidForAutos.com. I’ve worked in the car industry for more than 15 years—selling cars, appraising trade-ins, cleaning vehicles for resale, and watching thousands of people try to figure out how to buy or flip cars without getting ripped off.
Originally from Ireland, I now live in the U.S. and spend most of my time helping people buy smarter at auctions like Copart, IAAI, and Many More. I started this site because I kept seeing people make the same costly mistakes overpaying, skipping inspections, trusting bad listings, or bidding without knowing the hidden fees.
BidForAutos exists to help people who want real, no-nonsense used car buying advice, especially when it comes to salvage auctions, title issues, flipping for profit, and choosing the right car for your budget.
